Archaeologists turn up prehistoric finds

The historic landscape around Stonehenge and Avebury has yielded more of its secrets.
Archaeologists have spent the past three weeks walking 90 hectares (222 acres) of private land around the monuments to look for prehistoric flint. And a polished stone axe head from the Neolithic period, dating to between 3,000BC and 2,500BC, and a leaf-shaped arrowhead from the same period have been found near Stonehenge.
