Schoolboy digs up rare silver coin

A rare James I silver sixpence has been unearthed during an archaeological dig behind Swaffham Town Hall.
It was found yesterday by Hamond's High School student Jamie Burgess who, along with another pupil, Arran Arnold, has been helping with the dig before work starts on a 300,000 extension to the building.
They chose to take part in the project as part of their work experience and have been joined for part of the time by three students from the sixth form college.
