Diggers unearth tools from 7,000 years ago

Ancient artefacts dating back more than 7,000 years have been unearthed in an archaeological dig in west Dorset.
The primitive tools, which pre-date Stonehenge, were uncovered by volunteers during a dig at Thorncombe Beacon on the Golden Cap estate, near Charmouth, and are thought to be the oldest artefacts ever found in the area.
